I think you did the right. You definately shook him up and maybe he'll come to his senses. You don't know what have until you no longer have it. This might work in your favor down the pike....you just never know. All you do 'know'....is that things could not continue the way they were. Don't fret, time heals all...you will both find your way.....with or without each other.
